Housing Management Team

The Housing Management Team is responsible for the day to day management of the Co-operative’s properties in which it provides the following main services:

  • Allocation of empty properties – existing stock and new build
  • Rent Account Management – monitoring rent payments and taking action where necessary if rent not paid
  • Estate Management e.g. managing neighbour disputes, carrying out estate inspections
  • Welfare benefit advice and guidance e.g. housing benefit, debt
  • Warden service to sheltered housing sites
  • Provision of housing for special needs client groups
  • Managing agent for Kincardine Housing Co-operative
  • Referrals to other agencies – to help Members stay in their tenancy

Staff

The team consists of two Directors of Housing (job share), a Housing Manager, a Housing Support Manager, 7 Housing Officers (5 part-time), 1 Arrears Officer, 2 Housing Administrators (1 part-time), 1 Housing Assistant, 1 Administration Assistant (part-time) and 20 Sheltered Housing Wardens (including 8 relief wardens).
