Getting Involved

Steven Black, member of the Committee of Management and Tenant Assessor for ScotlandAs a fully mutual housing Co-operative, member participation and control lies at the heart of Tenants First and are fundamental to the way we do business. The publication of our Participation Strategy, which you can download below, gives us the opportunity to set out formally what we do now and will do in the future to ensure that all our members have the opportunity to engage with the co-operative and the communities they live in. We are committed to members, staff and committee members working together effectively to improve the services that the co-operative provides.

Opportunities to take part in the Co-operative and your Community

We recognise that traditional methods of participation, such as membership of committees, take more time and energy than many members have. We aim to develop a range of different ways to allow members to be involved at a level they are comfortable with.

The Co-operative can offer many opportunities for participation. See our 'Ways to get Involved' section for more details.

The Co-operative is committed to the principle of member participation. We welcome your views on any aspect of our service – whether good or bad. You can give us your comments by getting in contact with us at either at our offices.
