Are you receiving Housing Benefit?
Any tenants in
receipt of housing benefit are reminded that they must notify their
Housing Officer and the Local Authority immediately of any changes in
their circumstances which may affect their entitlement to benefit.
Some examples of this are: returning to work, changes in household
composition and changes of income / state benefits. The Housing
Management Team are available to offer advice and guidance to assist
tenants to maximise their benefit entitlement and to help prevent rent
arrears accruing.
