Petrie, age 7 and Amber Hanson, age 7, both from Aberdeenshire.
The standard of entries was very high and all those who entered

Albert Street
officially opened |
Tenants First have a new
supported housing development in
Albert Street, Fraserburgh. The building was refurbished to create four flats, linked together
by a beautiful conservatory which provides a great place for the tenants
to get together. The tenants
were able to choose the furniture and decoration for their own flats. The development was funded
through the new government ‘Supporting People’ initiative.
There is accommodation available for a support worker to stay so
help is always on hand for tenants, if required. The development was
officially opened by Banff & Buchan MP Alex Salmond on the 12th
of December, which was a big day for all concerned.
Sandy
Murray, Tenants First chief executive, said "What strikes people
immediately about the Albert Street house is its lively, friendly
atmosphere. We are delighted to have this new development up and
running." Mr.
Salmond said "I am fully supportive of the concept behind Tenants
First and it is to be congratulated for once again producing an excellent
facility"
"It
is a very happy place by all accounts and I enjoyed seeing it for myself
and meeting the tenants."
