Mart Site, Aboyne,
Aberdeenshire
The Deeside village
of Aboyne
is the setting for a new 16 home development for Tenants First. The homes
will complement the recent surrounding housing development and continue Tenants
First’s drive for the highest standards of design and energy efficiency in housing.
Discussion are ongoing with Banchory Contractors
on proposals for a scheme which achieves a high rating against the
Government's new code for sustainable homes. We hope to commence building works on site in
summer 2008.

Also
in the pipeline...
In March 2007 we acquired
sites from Aberdeenshire Council in the settlements of Marykirk, Macduff,
Strichen and Portsoy. These are important development opportunities for
the future programme in rural Aberdeenshire and work has commenced on
preparing planning applications.
