With this award winning
development at Portsoy, completed in May 2006, Tenants First
Housing Co-operative have built high quality homes for rent for
local people within an attractive seaside setting.
This development incorporates a mix of 20 family houses,
all with high insulation and energy-efficiency standards and design for
future adaptability depending on the occupant needs. There is also some
wheelchair accessible housing included.
The key feature of the Portsoy
site is the ‘Homezone’ layout, which introduces a safe and comfortable
environment for the inhabitants to interact. 
The development also has a play area,
landscaping and amenity space provided for the residents, and vehicle
access will be strictly controlled.
