Your rent is due monthly in advance and it is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time. If you are experiencing difficulties in being able to pay your rent please see our advice on what to do at the end of this page.

You can pay your rent by the methods noted below. All methods marked with * require you to have a Rent Payment card. Should you require a payment card, book or form you can do this online or contact any of our offices.

There is now a new way to securely pay your rent online, with the newly launched Allpayments.net, our preferred internet payment facility.

Allpayments.net - This secure way to pay your rent online has been introduced by AllPay.net themselves and involves an easy registration process. To use this option please click here or on the logo

Direct Debit

These can only be set up on a monthly basis and are debited from your bank account on the last working day of the month. An advantage of Direct Debit is that we can make any changes automatically for you. However, we will always give you 14 days notification of any changes made.

Also, this method is by far the cheapest option for collecting rent for your co-operative.

Standing Order

We can provide you with a form to send to your bank. Payments can be made to suit your own circumstances as long as your rent is paid before the due date.

Debit Card

You can pay by any of the Debit Cards noted below, by either visiting the Aberdeen Office or by telephone. For more details or to make a payment call Elaine Wallace on 01224 628400.

Difficulty paying your rent?

If you are finding it difficult to pay your rent, please contact your Housing Officer at Tenants First as quickly as possible. It is much easier for us to help you if you contact us before you owe a lot of rent.

You may be entitled to Housing Benefit to help with your rent. This is a scheme managed by your local council. Whether you are entitled to Housing Benefit will depend on your income, the number of people living with you, and how much rent you have to pay. If you think you may be entitled to Housing Benefit, or you can't afford your rent, ask Tenants First Housing Co-operative or your local council about Housing Benefit.

* to use these payment methods you need to have a Rent Payment card. Should you require a payment card, book or form you can do this online or contact any of our offices.
